Valerie has a fascination with anything dark and twisted—those topics that many find extremely disturbing or taboo. Because of that, they love to take familiar elements from the established lore/game and twist them in such ways, often creating entirely new concepts from them. He was a gentleman through and through. Something seemed off about him but she was use to people who were weird. Most believed she was weird due to her work. After an interesting conversation with him she invited him to see her if he ever came to the states.

When she returned it was back to the grind and Kayla wanted desperately to find a cure for a blood related sickness her father suffered from. She was able to find a way to stabilize him with careful study and time however she knew it would not be forever and time was growing short.Kayla was getting close to what she had hoped would be a cure for not just her father but any who suffered from this. She also in the process learned how to grow body parts on the back of animals using her knowledge of genetic.One day while leaving work with her father who came to take her out for a lunch they were stopped in an alleyway by three young men. These men killed her father, fatally harmed Kayla and left her in the alleyway wounded while her father lay next to her unmoving. It is then Varrick shows himself to her and offers her not only revenge on her killers but another chance to be great in a world that she would fit right into.HE explained he was a kindred and what that was. And he asked her if she wanted to die on the sidewalk or be reborn as a kindred. HE warned her that for his clan it was not an easy life sometimes for those no smart enough to find ways to adapt. She choose the embrace. And now, over 20 years later we have Kayla in Iron NY with a hopefully new ally toward the prince, The naharaja.

Introduction: New York's Curse Once a prince in Slovakia, he was ousted around a hundred and five years ago (1920) and left to his own. Now with no real responsibilities, he slowly ventured around. City to city, job to job and to this most recent stop -- the docks of a new 'Iron Kingdom' of Modern New York City.Did he arrive alone? It was easy money despite being a long journey, and the arrival seemed to be in the aftermath of something dangerous and weird. Perhaps New York's gift will hit Miko with it's second chances it's famous for granting.If he can survive the trial it puts him through.

Season 4: New York's gift "I started this whole thing intent on being useful to Claribel, so incredibly focused on being useful and not disappointing that I totally lost myself. Job and job and job just over and over and over. I met some incredible... powerful... beautiful women, they forced me to see. They would go out of their way to answer my questions as bluntly as I needed it till I understood. And as I "learned the city and its people" I realized... I was doing it all wrong. I couldn't fully stand behind the Iron Laws and being the Sheriff, I was only doing Claribel wrong by acting as Sheriff... instead of letting someone that would truly want to do it. I stepped down, the most drastic and independent thing I had decided since being sent from the Doctors Office. It has been the most difficult thing to live with, in the 4 or so months since leaving... I have really only struggled. But it was by my choice at least, finally, living for the most part of my own decisions."- Casimir
